Which should you buy, Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO or CKL 922HUA-5?
The Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO is the one to take for broadcast and security operations needing rack-mounted, RS232-controllable switching, though it is not the pick for single-desk users who only need to switch between two computers and buyers needing HDMI or DisplayPort instead of DVI/VGA. It also earns its place with control room and NOC operators managing 4-8 machines across multiple monitors. Avoid it for budget shoppers, since modular head configurations cost more than a fixed 4-port switch. it is the wrong buy for single-monitor users who don't need the dual-display extended mode. The same goes for dual-monitor desks wanting 8K or high-refresh 4K support across two computers. Our rating of the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO (8/10): A serious modular KVM built for control rooms that need to scale past 4 computers, overkill for a simple desk setup. Our rating of the CKL 922HUA-5 (8/10): an HDMI 2.1 dual-monitor KVM switch that hits 8K@60Hz or 4K@144Hz, well ahead of HDMI 2.0 competitors.
